Need help with your childcare costs?

Need help with your childcare costs?
If you’re a working parent or carer, you can get up to £500 every three months (up to £2,000 a year per child) to help with the costs of childcare.

If your child has a disability, you can get up to £1,000 every three months (up to £4,000 a year per child).

You can use it to pay for childcare including:
• childminders, nurseries and nannies
• playschemes, before and after school clubs, and holiday clubs

Banana Moon West Bromwich is registered on the tax free childcare scheme so this could benefit you.

There are other schemes which may help you with childcare costs.

Some 2 year olds may be eligible for 15 hours funding in the term after their 2nd birthday. To apply for this you need to visit the Sandwell Family Information Service Hub and search for Early Learning for Two's funding.

3 year olds become eligible for 15 hours Nursery Education Funding in the term after their 3rd birthday. BUT! Did you know that some parents may be able to access a further 15 hours of funding for their child to give 30 hours of childcare? To see if you are eligible simply search 30 hours free childcare and follow the step-by-step instructions on the GOV.UK website to check your eligibility!
